Requirements
  • 2–3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, operations, or a related role, ideally within payments, banking, or financial services.
  • Experience in API design and developer experience, including RESTful API product management, developer portals, and API-first product strategy.
  • Background in electronic payments, including ACH, wires, SWIFT, real-time payments such as RTP and FedNow, SEPA Instant, and cross-border payment flows.
  • Strong analytical skills, including comfort working with large datasets using Excel, SQL, or similar tools to identify trends and root causes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical file specifications into clear documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A detail-oriented, organized approach to managing the feature delivery cycle from initial client request through engineering requirements, testing, and go-live.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day execution of the API and file-based channels roadmap.
  • Assist in converting varied client payment formats into standardized internal payment formats, working with engineering to troubleshoot mapping and transformation logic.
  • Analyze payment transmission and processing data to identify failure patterns, formatting errors, latency issues, and opportunities for automation or client education.
  • Partner with customers, implementation teams, and servicing teams on new feature requests and drive delivery.
  • Maintain and improve internal documentation, runbooks, and format guides used by engineering, implementation, and client-facing teams.
  • Track and report on key operational metrics and help translate findings into prioritized backlog items.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing for new payment formats, connectivity types, and channel enhancements.
  • Flag recurring pain points and propose incremental fixes to formats, validation rules, or processes.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with file transfer protocols and standards such as SFTP and FileAct and/or payment messaging standards such as SWIFT MT and ISO 20022.
  • Enthusiasm or curiosity about the business, technical, and operational aspects of payments and banking.
  • Interest in electronic payments, real-time payments, card networks, stablecoin payments, and emerging payment schemes.
  • Interest in API design and best-in-class developer experience, including documentation, sandbox environments, and seamless onboarding for corporate clients and fintech partners.
  • Interest in corporate treasury, cash management, and the operations of large corporates and financial institutions.
  • Understanding of user experience design principles across payment channel touchpoints.
  • Interest in applying Generative AI to payment channels, including intelligent payment routing, anomaly detection, client-facing assistants, and workflow automation.
  • Awareness of industry trends including ISO 20022 migration, real-time payments, open banking and APIs, card scheme innovations, SWIFT gpi, and request-to-pay schemes.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for payment channel products, including AML/KYC, GDPR, CCPA, and PSD2 where applicable.

Goldman Sachs buys $14M stake in FirstCry parent Brainbees Solutions

Goldman Sachs has acquired a significant stake in Brainbees Solutions, the parent company of FirstCry, purchasing 6.8 million shares at ₹175 each through a bulk deal on the National Stock Exchange. The transaction, executed on 24 September 2026, is valued at approximately ₹119 crore. Goldman Sachs was previously an anchor investor in Brainbees Solutions' initial public offering, which allocated shares worth ₹1,885.80 crore to institutional investors. Meanwhile, private equity firm TPG exited its entire 2.21% stake in FirstCry through a ₹202 crore bulk deal, selling 12 million shares at ₹175.15 per share. TPG had first invested in FirstCry in 2021 and gradually reduced its holdings following the company's stock market debut in 2024. Technical analysts note that FirstCry shares remain in a downtrend, with immediate support at the ₹160–165 range.

Taktile raises $190M as AI agents outperform human analysts at SMB underwriting

Taktile, a Berlin-based decision platform for financial services, has raised $190 million in total funding, including a recent $120 million Series C led by Goldman Sachs. Moneyview raises $38.3M from anchor investors ahead of $127.7M IPO

Digital lending platform Moneyview raised Rs 327.5 crore from anchor investors ahead of its Rs 1,092-crore initial public offering. The company allotted 9.63 crore equity shares to 20 funds at Rs 34 apiece, the upper end of the IPO price band. The anchor investors included SBI Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Goldman Sachs, Mirae Asset, Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund, Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, India Acorn Fund, Quant Mutual Fund, Amundi Funds and HDFC Life.
