Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and timely delivery.
Maintain thorough familiarity with the needs of the Department of Defense, FEMA, USPS, and similar government agencies.
Coordinate with the carrier team to manage the full lifecycle of shipments from pickup to delivery.
Communicate with logistics coordinators and carrier sales team members regarding order needs, delivery times, and customer requests.
Monitor shipment status, proactively communicate updates or delays, and resolve service-related issues.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, focusing on retention and revenue growth.
Work closely with carrier partners to ensure capacity, compliance, and performance standards.
Analyze client needs and offer tailored logistics solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Track key performance indicators and service metrics; prepare and present regular performance reports to clients and management.
Identify opportunities for upselling or expanding service offerings within current accounts.

Perform accurate and timely data entry for orders, load details, client information, and shipment updates in transportation management systems, customer relationship management systems, and internal databases.
Role Description: LST Group is seeking an energetic, highly driven Account Manager to support and expand our business with all Government Agencies. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and expanding our services with existing clients. You will provide the best solutions for our company to support our Government Agency clients’ freight transportation goals. This position leads the charge in ensuring we deliver outstanding service & communication to LST Group’s Government Agency customers.
