- Conduct day-to-day system administration of hardware and software in a software test and integration laboratory.
- Assist with hardware and software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, scanning, patching, backups, and restores for client servers and workstations.
- Perform hardware and software upgrades and assist with integration and test setup.
- Apply security patches and recommended operating system patches.
- Participate in software and hardware testing for tactical systems.
- Support, troubleshoot, and resolve software and hardware conflicts and problems across a variety of platforms.
- Tune system performance and monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve client server and workstation problems.
- Follow established software and hardware baseline configurations to set up, maintain, and configure client servers, associated workstations, and peripherals.
- Assist the Information Systems Security Manager and Information Systems Security Officer with documentation required for Risk Management Framework compliance.
- Coordinate and communicate activities, status updates, outage notifications, and schedule information.
- Prepare program-level and user-level documentation.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert certification.
