About the US-GOV Cloud Operations Team:

***This is a U.S. based role with U.S. citizenship requirement. Applicant must reside in and work from the U.S. and be able to pass a FedRAMP background check***

Location: US- Remote, Eastern or Central time zone preferred.

Cloud Operations (CloudOps) at Icertis is responsible for Availability, Resiliency, Performance, Monitoring, Emergency Response, and Capacity Planning of the Icertis SaaS application & related services. CloudOps also executes Identity & Access Management, Role-Based Provisioning, Upgrades, Deployments, and Change, Incident, and Problem management to drive faster time to market. This department plays a critical role in building & executing the cloud strategy as part of overall service delivery for the company.

What you will do:

·We are looking for a proactive, highly motivated, detailed oriented, and passionate Senior Cloud Operations professional to join our rapidly growing US GOV Cloud Operations team. This individual will be a passionate Cloud Operations professional who is committed to secure SaaS service delivery and the success of our Azure Government customers.
·You will be working to support and scale environments in the Azure Government Cloud and will take part in deployments, upgrades, incident, problem & capacity management functions.
·You will work on production & non-production environments to ensure all services are running reliably & securely.
·You will use automation within Azure DevOps (ADO), CI/CD pipelines and custom tooling.
·Interact with customer support and professional services to troubleshoot issues and provide workarounds by leveraging your troubleshooting skills.
·Create and manage processes for the secure operation of customer cloud environments.
·Systems used are (Windows, Linux, and Azure SQL Server and Databases) and Network administration.
·Use your knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) to make changes and find root cause for incidents and problems.
·Identify, escalate, and communicate incidents and problems in a timely manner.
·Contribute to and maintain a knowledge base centered on known incidents/defects, Frequently Asked Questions, resolved incidents and problems, applying lessons learned to prevent future occurrences.
·Collaborate with customer services, professional services, project/program/product managers, and engineers to ensure that critical and time-sensitive projects run smoothly to achieve business outcomes.
·On-call responsibilities to respond to emergency situations and scheduled maintenance.

What you will bring:

·Minimum 7+ years of working with mission critical, distributed, multi-tier, 24x7 Cloud Operations/SRE teams (preferrable Microsoft Azure Government Cloud) to execute upgrades, deployments, user & infra provisioning, incident & change management.
·Minimum 4+ years configuring/supporting/troubleshooting Windows Server.
·Minimum 4+ years configuring/supporting/troubleshooting IIS and .Net platforms.
·Minimum 4+ years configuring/supporting/troubleshooting Azure Kubernetes and containers.
·Understand and ability to admin Unix/Linux systems.
·Strong understanding of cloud concepts, applications, storage, compute, and networking components.
·Troubleshoot and debug C#/ASP.NET applications and/or PaaS service failures.
·Readiness to work in 24x7 rotational shift model.
·Hands on script creation in PowerShell, Linux shell, Python or C# start/stop/restart services.
·Experience using and configuring full spectrum Monitoring, Logging and event tool like Splunk, Sumo Logic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, Elastic Search (Kibana), App Insights.
·Knowledge and experience with load balancing systems F5s, App Gateways, Azure Front Door.
·Proactive and self-motivated, committed to achieving deadlines, meeting SLAs/SLOs, and producing results.
·Excellent customer service, people skills and relationship building skills.
·Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
·Ability to be a good listener and to understand customer issues.
·Ability to provide innovative workarounds or design a solution to fix a customer’s problem.
·Ability to work in a fast changing, agile environment where change is constant.
·Azure Certifications:
AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
Azure Portal/Azure DevOps/Visual Studio/Azure Active Directory.
·Experience and working knowledge with a range of Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
·Experience of configuring/supporting Kubernetes (AKS Preferred), Redis Cache.
·Comfortable using TFS (Team Foundation Server) and Azure DevOps (ADO) workflows.
·Comfortable with Visual Studio and SQL Server Data Tools.
·Comfortable with basic DevOps concepts like CI/CD and Infra-automation.
·Hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform.
·Knowledge and experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes and procedure.

Preferred familiarity (2+ years) with some or all the following Azure PaaS security resources:
Threat protection
WAF (Web Application Firewall)
Tenable Nessus
Microsoft Defender for Cloud
Static code scanning tools: Veracode
Open-Source scanning tools: Blackduck
SIEM (Sentinel), and Cloud Security Analytics
