Field work may include drilling and test pitting to collect soil samples, sediment grab sampling and coring, and monitoring well installation and groundwater sample collection.
  • Evaluate and interpret field and laboratory environmental data, perform engineering and scientific analyses and evaluations, and develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Evaluate the fate and transport of environmental contaminants in soil, sediment, groundwater, indoor air, and/or soil vapor, and develop conceptual site models to assess contaminant exposure pathways to receptors.
  • Develop solutions to environmental problems by evaluating applicable remedial technologies to meet the requirements of the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP).
