Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of a Radiologic Science Program at an American Medical Association-approved school.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) or eligible.
  • Massachusetts state license.
  • Must be capable of performing all routine diagnostic procedures, including portable examinations.
  • Must have knowledge, experience, and competency in dealing with patients in Adult Rehabilitation and/or Geriatric Rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain patients’ radiology records.
  • Transfer and properly position patients for examinations to obtain desired radiographic results according to physician specifications.
  • Develop X-rays.
  • Operate equipment in accordance with safety measures established by Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital, state, and federal regulations; report equipment failure to the supervisor.
  • Take responsibility for personal and professional development.
