ERP Data and Systems Architect

- Strong experience with ERP architecture, such as Net Link or a similar platform.
- Strong SQL experience, including queries, stored procedures, and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Net-Link, custom ERPs, or comparable platforms.
- Experience translating business processes into data models.
- Proficiency with Power BI, including data models, DAX, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of relational databases, table structures, and normalization principles.
- Strong analytical thinking and root-cause problem solving.
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical teams.
- Ability to maintain organized, detailed, and consistent documentation.
- Diagnose and resolve ERP data-integrity issues, including incorrect fields, broken relationships, and faulty logic.
- Redesign tables, workflows, and master-data structures to support clean and consistent operations.
- Maintain structurally correct SKU, bill of materials, customer, vendor, pricing, and inventory records.
- Work with IT on system changes, upgrades, integrations, and data-flow improvements.
- Optimize ERP modules and workflows used by operations, purchasing, accounting, and sales.
- Identify inefficiencies, gaps, or broken business rules in system processes.
- Recommend and implement ERP-related fixes that reduce manual work and eliminate data re-entry.
- Support future expansion, add-ons, or ERP enhancement projects.
- Trace incorrect figures to their originating ERP table, field, or process.
- Document technical issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Explain technical problems and solutions clearly.
- Build SQL views, queries, and data models that extract clean data directly from ERP tables.
- Create stable, scalable data pipelines to support analytics, automation, and system integrations.
- Validate the accuracy and consistency of ERP-based datasets.
- Document ERP fields, tables, definitions, and data flows.
- Establish consistent definitions for business metrics and reporting logic.
- Keep documentation updated as changes are implemented.
- Experience supporting or configuring ERP modules.
- Experience with ETL tools or API-based integrations.
- Ability to automate tasks using Python, PowerShell, or similar tools.
- Ability to read RPG.
