Responsibilities
  • Participate in and ensure high customer satisfaction for assigned key accounts and all Clopay National Accounts through service-call management, including dispatch, quoting, and project management.
  • Ensure knowledge of customer expectations and pricing programs, timely dispatch, accurate quote submission, proper vendor selection, proactive dispatch management and follow-up, and effective internal and external communication.
  • Perform the duties of a Service Project Coordinator or Project Manager.
  • Fill in on the on-call rotation when needed to ensure proper coverage.
  • Lead and develop the Key Account Team to exceed productivity and quality targets.
  • Improve customer support skills through coaching based on monitored calls and service-dispatch metrics.
  • Identify and resolve disciplinary and performance issues within the team to maintain customer satisfaction and eliminate complaints.
  • Conduct semi-annual reviews and monthly one-on-one meetings with each associate.
  • Work with the Service Department Supervisor to identify trends and establish continuous improvement practices.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of service-support systems to improve team performance.
  • Undertake special projects assigned by senior management.
  • Manage staffing levels in response to changes in work volume.
  • Remain aware of available company services to meet customer needs.
  • Support the needs of the Service Department and the company.
  • Approve worked hours and benefit time according to payroll processes.
  • Monitor call aging and unresolved expenses.
  • Participate in the development and training of newly hired associates, including 30-, 60-, and 90-day reviews.
  • Facilitate and participate in weekly Ideas meetings.
  • Manage the team to achieve defined profitability expectations.
