Responsibilities
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of semi-trailers and trailer equipment.
Complete preventative maintenance services according to manufacturer and company standards.
Conduct Department of Transportation inspections and identify required repairs.
Diagnose and repair air brake systems, electrical and lighting systems, trailer doors and lift components, landing gear, trailer floors, suspension systems, and trailer bodies and structural components.
Interpret work orders, technical manuals, and repair procedures.
Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation and safety.
Provide customer service during shop and field service assignments.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Complete accurate work orders, inspection reports, and service documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Desired Qualifications
A technical degree or diesel/trailer repair certification is preferred.
Previous experience as a diesel mechanic or trailer service technician is preferred.
A Class A commercial driver's license is preferred, or the candidate must be willing to obtain one.

Qualifications
