About the Company

PHI Air Medical

Emergency air medical transport via helicopters

PHI Air Medical provides emergency air medical transport across the United States, operating a fleet of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft from more than 82 bases. It responds to emergency scenes and performs inter-facility transfers for patients needing higher levels of care, transporting over 22,500 patients annually. Services are delivered through partnerships with local communities and healthcare systems, staffed by pilots, critical care nurses, paramedics, and mechanics who manage in-flight medical needs such as ventilators and ECMO. Revenue comes from transport billing and the PHI Cares membership program, with the FlyPHI app to request aircraft and Family Trax to monitor patient transport, all aimed at providing dependable care and reducing out-of-pocket costs through outreach and access programs.
