About the job
- No previous experience is needed.
- Must be able to operate a computerized register.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Accurately handle merchandise purchases by following the Cash Handling Policy and abide by the Bin Labeling Procedure to determine merchandise quality and price.
- Assist with product movement to ensure efficient product flow, including loading and unloading containers and trucks.
- Provide customer service by greeting customers and enhancing their shopping experience; direct complaints to management in a timely manner.
- Maintain work areas, equipment, the parking lot, and the facility in a clean, safe, and organized condition, and support other housekeeping duties.
- Assist with auctions, tracking the board, the door verification process, sorting goods according to company guidelines, and setting up the sales floor.
- Assist customers with donations and issue donation receipts.
- Safeguard company property, including donated goods, and report incidents to management in a timely manner.
- Follow daily assignments and department priorities to ensure productivity.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed.
- Support the 4DX process within the organization and development through active participation.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish and English ability is preferred.
