Intrum stock plunges 39% in biggest drop since June on Q3 loss.

Intrum stock plunges 39% in biggest drop since June on Q3 loss. Investing.com - Swedish debt collector Intrum AB's shares plunged as much as 39% on Friday, marking their biggest single-day drop since June 3, after reporting a third-quarter net loss of SEK 1.49 billion, driven by missed adjusted operating profit expectations and a 7% year-on-year decline in servicing revenue. Total income was SEK 3.82 billion, compared with consensus of SEK 3.94 billion and SEK 4.06 billion a year earlier. The company said the year-on-year decline was primarily driven by lower servicing fee income, which fell 7%. Adjusted operating profit was SEK 976 million, against consensus of SEK 1.083 billion and SEK 1.234 billion a year earlier. Reported EBIT was a loss of SEK 266 million, compared with consensus for a profit of SEK 1.515 billion. The quarter included a SEK 1.52 billion goodwill impairment linked to continued forecast losses in Germany. External servicing income fell to SEK 2.743 billion from SEK 2.916 billion a year earlier, with the company attributing the decline to weakness in specialised markets. Adjusted EBIT in the Servicing business was SEK 752 million, matching consensus and compared with SEK 742 million a year earlier. Investing income was SEK 1.08 billion, versus consensus of SEK 1.09 billion. Adjusted EBIT in the Investing business fell to SEK 408 million from SEK 625 million a year earlier, reflecting a smaller investment book and a reduced contribution from joint ventures. Intrum invested SEK 617 million in portfolios during the quarter, compared with consensus of SEK 271 million. Net financial expenses were SEK 948 million, compared with consensus of SEK 1.087 billion. The servicing leverage ratio fell to 4.5 times from 5.7 times at the end of 2025 after the capital raise and sale of an associate. Intrum said full-year external servicing income was expected to be lower than in 2025. Original Article

GLAS hires former Temenos exec as chief product and technology officer.

GLAS hires former Temenos exec as chief product and technology officer. Sairam Rangachari joins Global Loan Agency Services to lead the integration of AI across the loan administration and trustee business. Tyler Pathe, Senior Reporter, FinTech Futures October 7, 2026 Sairam Rangachari is moving into loan administration services after his tenure at Temenos terminated in July. He now serves as the chief product and technology officer (CPTO) for Global Loan Agency Services (GLAS), which specialises in administration, agency, and trustee services for corporate loans and bonds. GLAS created the position for Rangachari, whose main goal is to integrate AI into the business. Announcing his latest career move on LinkedIn, Rangachari says he wants to "build an AI-native mindset into how we build and serve our clients". Rangachari will use his experience as chief product officer (CPO) and head of AI at Temenos to achieve this mindset. He oversaw the launch of various co-pilots, including the FCM AI agent, for Temenos during his 18-month tenure. This tenure ended over the summer after the core banking company executed a major restructuring of its C-suite. This also cut CPTO Barb Morgan and chief technology officer Rohit Chauhan, now replaced by Tony Coleman. Before Temenos, Rangachari was CPO of banking and payments at Fidelity National Information Services (FIS), and served as managing director and global head of open banking and digital channels, payments, and treasury services at JP Morgan Chase. Now he joins a company that has $920 billion in assets under administration and approximately 6,000 loan facilities under management. Recent GLAS transactions include acting as the facility and security agent for Econergy's €229 million financing of the Părău 2 solar project in Romania in September. GLAS also recently supported QVC Group, acting as administrative agent, collateral agent, and borrowing base agent on its $600 million asset-based senior secured revolving credit facility. This financing package was tied to QVC's broader financial restructuring and emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy. In the restructuring sector, GLAS acted as note trustee, security agent, and paying agent for Chinese property developer Fantasia Holdings Group on the restructuring of over $4 billion in offshore debt. It also served as tabulation agent for debt management firm Intrum during its SEK 7.5 billion capital raise and €525 million senior secured notes offering. GLAS was created in 2011 by ex-City lawyer Brian Carne and Mia Drennan, a former corporate banker who now leads the business as CEO. GLAS completed its acquisition of Italian debt administration provider Loan Agency Services (LAS) in January, expanding to its tenth global jurisdiction from its headquarters in London, UK. That same month, mid-market private equity investor Oakley Capital acquired a majority stake in GLAS. La Caisse, formerly CDPQ, also acquired a minority position in January alongside Levine Leichtman Capital Partners. Intrum and Siirto partner up: Invoices delivered straight to where they're paid.

Intrum and Siirto partner up: Invoices delivered straight to where they're paid. Article - 04.08.2026 The cooperation between Intrum and Siirto brings invoices forwarded by Intrum directly to consumers' online banks. Siirto's e-invoice address forwarding service makes receiving and paying invoices smoother for consumers, while giving companies a wider opportunity to make use of the e-invoice channel as part of modern invoice delivery. Siirto Brand Oy and credit management company Intrum are starting a cooperation in invoicing services. As a result, invoices forwarded by Intrum will be more easily available in the e-invoice channel through Siirto's e-invoice address forwarding service. The service complements Intrum's multichannel invoice delivery and also makes the first invoice available in online banks. Intrum is Europe's leading credit management company, helping around 20,000 companies in Finland by offering services across the entire receivables management lifecycle - from credit decisions and invoice delivery to the collection of overdue receivables. A smoother way for consumers to pay invoices. In practice, the invoice is routed to the consumer's familiar banking environment, where it can be reviewed and approved for payment. For consumers, this means a smoother everyday life: the invoice appears in the same place where payments are otherwise handled, and payment details don't need to be moved separately from one channel to another. When the invoice is easy to find and the payment can be approved, for example, in the banking app, payments happen more promptly and the risk of an invoice being forgotten is reduced. An easier way for companies to make use of e-invoices. For business customers, Siirto provides an easier way to deliver invoices forwarded by Intrum as e-invoices. This helps reach consumer customers where the invoice is most often paid, while also supporting the digitalisation of invoicing. From a company's perspective, the benefit comes from a smoother customer experience, a monitored and automated invoice delivery process, and the ability to make paying as easy as possible for the recipient. When the invoice is in the right channel at the right time, the payment process can also move forward faster. The cooperation brings flexibility to invoicing. The cooperation strengthens Intrum's ability to offer companies flexible and efficient invoice delivery solutions, and gives consumers an easy way to receive and pay invoices digitally. "By combining Intrum's invoicing expertise with Siirto's data services, we can offer companies an even more up-to-date and efficient way to reach their customers, and speed up the payment process." Kati Velling, Development Manager, Intrum Siirto is a Finnish payments and invoicing service that operates directly within banks' own online and mobile banking services, without a separate application.
