Requirements
  • 8+ years of financial and accounting experience
  • BS/BA in accounting or finance; MBA and/or CPA required
  • GAAP and IFRS expertise experience required

Responsibilities
  • Manage our third-party international vendor across our Portfolio entities
  • Partner with the Legal, HR, and Management teams to understand critical elements and the impact of doing business internationally
  • Ensure compliance with international accounting policies, procedures, and controls for international legal entities
  • Manage the monthly close process for the international offices
  • Assist in the consolidation of international subsidiaries
  • Manage local audit and tax requirements
  • Manage organizational cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for international entities
  • Collaborate with the greater accounting team with: operational efficiency, technical accounting, and non-routine transactions
  • Research, establish, and enforce proper accounting treatment for new and complex business transactions such as mergers & acquisitions and collaboration agreements
  • Assist with specific projects and initiatives unique to a fast-growing biotechnology start-up
  • Provide Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
