Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, finance, law, or a comparable field, with 3–4 years of tax-advisory experience, particularly in tax compliance and tax reporting.
  • Completed tax-advisor examination or training as a specialist lawyer in tax law.
  • German and English proficiency at C1 level or higher.

Responsibilities

  • Advise international clients on key issues concerning the accounting of tax positions as a tax advisor.
  • Advise on determining or reviewing current and deferred tax positions in financial statements prepared under HGB, IFRS, or US GAAP.
  • Advise on and review the implementation of a tax reporting system.
  • Advise on and review BEPS Pillar Two projects.
  • Determine current and deferred tax positions in carve-out projects and support changes in accounting standards.
  • Advise on preparing tax sustainability reports (ESG).

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior knowledge of SAP, Tagetik, or Amana GTC.
