About the job

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of enterprise cybersecurity or infrastructure software sales experience.
  • Demonstrated Financial Services domain expertise, including business, operational, and regulatory dynamics, with established relationships.
  • Fluency in co-selling across alliance, service, and channel partners, including navigating multi-partner dynamics on the same deal.
  • A track record of closing enterprise deals through partners and navigating complex procurement.
  • Experience identifying opportunities through buying signals and repeatable playbooks rather than volume-based prospecting alone.
  • Proficiency with the MEDDPICC sales methodology and discipline in qualifying out low-probability opportunities as well as qualifying them in.
  • Strong knowledge of the Financial Services security landscape and regulatory requirements.
  • Comfort with customer relationship management discipline, pipeline management, and forecast accuracy.
  • Demonstrated daily use of artificial intelligence tools in selling activities such as research, prospecting, forecasting, and follow-up to increase velocity and outcomes, and willingness to commit to activity monitoring and coaching.
  • Willingness to travel 30–40%.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and close net-new customers within the specified vertical and ideal customer profile.
  • Identify opportunities through repeatable signals and playbooks rather than broad-based outbound volume.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with chief information security officers, security leaders, chief technology officers, and business decision-makers in Financial Services.
  • Co-sell and orchestrate joint account plans across alliance, service, and channel partners simultaneously, providing technical credibility and competitive differentiation.
  • Lead discovery calls using the MEDDPICC qualification framework: Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria, Decision Process, Pain, Identified Need, Champion, and Competition.
  • Position TrendAI's business value against vertical- and ideal-customer-profile-specific business, operational, and regulatory challenges.
  • Collaborate with a Technical Lead on technical scoping and early-stage demonstrations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
  • Maintain disciplined sales activity tracking and pipeline management; activity data is monitored and reviewed regularly for coaching.
  • Qualify out poor-fit opportunities early and decisively to protect pipeline quality and capacity for winnable deals.
  • Document expansion roadmaps and economic buyer maps before deal close.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual new-customer targets while maintaining deal-quality standards.
  • Use artificial intelligence tools daily for account research, personalization, meeting preparation, forecasting, and follow-up to increase sales velocity and outcomes, not only prospecting efficiency.
  • Provide market, competitive, and signal intelligence to inform vertical playbooks and strategy.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience selling artificial intelligence security, cloud security, or infrastructure security solutions.
  • Experience selling through established partner channels in cybersecurity.
  • Understanding of land-and-expand software-as-a-service business models.
  • Familiarity with signal- or intent-based prospecting platforms, such as account intelligence and trigger-event monitoring, to support playbook-driven pipeline generation.

Trend Micro and BlackBerry gain attention as F-35 leak concerns tighten defense supply chains

US concerns over F-35 technology leaks and tightening controls on sensitive defence shipments are drawing investor attention to cybersecurity and secure logistics firms. Trend Micro, a Japanese cybersecurity platform provider serving enterprises and governments globally, has a market capitalisation of approximately ¥857.8 billion. The company generates revenue across Japan, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas, with AI-infused capabilities including cyber risk management and digital twin security environments. BlackBerry, now focused on secure software and embedded systems for governments and transport sectors, earns around $283 million from its QNX division and $273 million from Secure Communications, supported by a CA$7.1 billion market cap. Japanese cybersecurity firm Trend Micro is deploying AI-powered security software across its Vision One platform and Deepfake Inspector, targeting risks from large language models. TrendAI adopts Claude Opus 5 to speed vulnerability prioritization and virtual patching

TrendAI, the enterprise AI security division of Trend Micro, has adopted Claude Opus 5 to enhance vulnerability prioritisation and virtual patching capabilities. As a participant in Anthropic's Cyber Verification Program, TrendAI will use the advanced reasoning model to help security teams convert vulnerability intelligence into immediate protection across hybrid environments. The model will support TrendAI's work in threat research, combining frontier AI with proprietary intelligence and human expertise to generate pre-disclosure intelligence. These insights power TrendAI Vision One, delivering detection, forensic insights, and proactive protection through virtual patching. TrendAI chief platform and business officer Rachel Jin said the technology enables protection of organisations faster than software can be permanently patched, addressing the challenge of responding to vulnerabilities as AI makes finding them increasingly easy.

Trend Micro integrates Claude Compliance API into Vision One platform

Trend Micro has integrated Anthropic's Claude Compliance API into its Vision One platform. The API, available to Claude Enterprise and Claude Platform customers, exposes conversation content including chats, uploaded files and projects, whilst surfacing activity events such as logins, administrative actions and configuration changes. Trend Micro said customers can deploy a self-hosted collector that runs locally, ensuring the compliance access key and Claude conversation content remain within their own environment to meet data residency requirements. The integration also offers a security information and event management option that correlates Claude telemetry with signals from endpoints, identities, networks, cloud services and email systems.
