Responsibilities
  • Administer and support the human resources information system, including maintaining data integrity, configuring workflows, generating reports, and partnering with human resources leadership and vendors to optimize system use.
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments, qualifying life events, and open enrollment.
  • Support employee-relations matters and assist with investigations by gathering information and documenting actions under human resources leadership guidance, escalating sensitive or high-risk issues.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on human resources policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assist with day-to-day human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Maintain and update the human resources handbook, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance related to healthcare, behavioral health, and licensing requirements when applicable.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Assist leaders with performance-management processes, including evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct stay and exit interviews.
  • Assist with payroll functions.
  • Participate in conflict resolution and mediation between team members when needed, under human resources leadership direction.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and organizational policies.
  • Prepare human resources reports related to turnover, headcount compliance, and other human resources metrics.
  • Participate in human resources projects and organizational improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Perform other functions assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
  • Coordinate training initiatives, including compliance training and Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services training.
  • Administer and track employee leaves of absence and Americans with Disabilities accommodations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication.
  • Support compensation processes within established guidelines and escalate exceptions or complex determinations to human resources leadership.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
