The Role:

At Generate, we’re pioneering a transformative approach to digital product management in the biotech landscape. We seek a forward-thinking leader to helm our R&D informatics suite of digital products. In this new role, you will partner with the informatics/engineering teams to bring innovative ideas to fruition, creating tools that enhance organizational efficiency and productivity. Your leadership will catalyze broad adoption of our digital stack across R&D, amplifying value and accelerating our pace. By fostering collaborations with both internal and external stakeholders, you will be pivotal in delivering some of the most groundbreaking digital products and capabilities to Generate.

Here’s how you will contribute:

• Vision & Leadership: Collaborate across teams to shape and execute Generate’s digital strategy.Champion the digital product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligned with Generate’s mission. Drive the adoption of our digital stack across R&D, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Product Expertise & Development: Position yourself as the go-to expert on Generate’s R&D informatics platform.Rapidly design solutions that address core business challenges within an Enterprise Digital Architecture.Engage with stakeholders to transform requirements into scalable digital products.
• Communication & Collaboration: Build strong relationships internally and externally, championing our digital products.Keep stakeholders informed on digital strategy and achievements.
• Operational Excellence & User Focus: Partner with engineers to enhance product utility and accessibility, and collaborate with design teams to ensure superior user experience.
• Innovation & Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends and infuse insights into product requirements. Foster a culture of learning and innovation in Digital.
• Ownership & Agility:  Embrace agility in product development.Own the product roadmap, ensuring cohesive vision and execution.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Over a decade of experience in digital product management, in the tech/biotech industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in understanding customer and market needs to craft both short- and long-term product roadmaps.
• A successful history of spearheading product development teams and partnering with engineering to deliver impactful digital solutions.
• Experience in launching and scaling cloud-based enterprise products.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and a deep understanding of the biotech regulatory landscape.
• Strong acumen in data management and analytics, particularly in handling large biotech datasets.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of elucidating complex technical and scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
• A self-starter attitude, thriving in dynamic environments, demonstrating ownership, accountability, and an ability to juggle multiple priorities.
