Requirements
  • Two to five years of applied artificial intelligence or machine learning engineering experience in an enterprise, startup, or product-focused setting.
  • Strong Python skills and experience with machine learning or natural language processing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with speech-to-text systems or classification models.
  • Experience working with unstructured, noisy datasets in real-world environments.
  • Ability to own projects end-to-end and ship quickly in an early-stage startup environment.
Responsibilities
  • Design, train, and deploy artificial intelligence-powered features such as speech-to-text transcription, entity extraction, and classification, and help shape the evaluation and experimentation platform.
  • Work with messy, domain-specific data, including shop-floor audio, unstructured repair notes, and scanned documents.
  • Integrate models directly into mobile and web products while working with full-stack engineers to deliver features to users quickly.
  • Experiment with model architectures, fine-tuning strategies, and data-cleaning approaches to improve accuracy and usability.
  • Monitor real-world performance in production and tune models for accuracy, latency, and cost efficiency.
  • Explore and prototype new artificial intelligence capabilities from zero to one across a customer-approved roadmap.
