DailyPay provides earned wage access, letting employees access money they've already earned on a daily basis instead of waiting for a scheduled payday. Employers partner with DailyPay; via payroll integrations, employees request immediate payment of earned wages, which DailyPay funds and the employer pays a service fee. The platform uses payroll and time data to determine earned but unpaid wages and delivers the funds through a digital interface. Its goal is to improve employee financial wellness and retention by making payroll more flexible, with particular applicability to healthcare, retail, and restaurant sectors.

By Claire Cartmill Published 9th Sep 2026, 10:04 BST Newtownards man, Adam White, senior director of people & talent at DailyPay, will become site lead of its Belfast office. American technology company DailyPay has announced that Adam White, senior director of people & talent, will become site lead of its Belfast office, effective October 31. The appointment underscores DailyPay's growing commitment to attracting, developing and retaining talent in Northern Ireland as the leading on-demand pay platform and financial wellness solution continues to expand its presence in the region. In his new role, Adam will oversee day-to-day operations at DailyPay's Belfast office and lead the company's talent strategy across Northern Ireland and the UK. Since opening in 2021, the Belfast office has grown to more than 150 employees across engineering, product, client success, operations and people teams. You May Like Adam joined DailyPay's people operations team in 2022 as the company's first UK hire. Over the past four years, his remit has expanded to include global responsibility for the company's people and talent functions across the US and UK. He will continue in this role alongside his new responsibilities as UK site lead. "Northern Ireland is a place of extraordinary talent, and I am thrilled to be part of an organization that values hiring and developing people in the place I am proud to call home," he said. "As someone who grew up and still lives in Newtownards, just 30 minutes from our office, and built a career in this thriving market, I've seen firsthand the return companies get when they invest in local talent. Bringing that commitment to life here is deeply special to me."
DailyPay, a New York City-based early wage access provider, has secured $260 million in debt financing. The funding comprises a $160 million revolving credit facility from Barclays and Angelo Gordon, plus a $100 million term loan from SVB Capital and Neuberger Berman. The company plans to use the capital to expand its services domestically and internationally whilst pursuing innovation. DailyPay's clients include Hilton, Target, Kroger and Dollar Tree. The financing follows the appointment of Kevin Coop as chief executive officer five months ago. DailyPay previously raised $300 million in a revolving credit facility from Barclays last March and secured $500 million in equity and credit capital in 2021. The company operates in a crowded market with approximately 30 competitors, including Payactiv, EarnIn and Flexwage Solutions.
DailyPay opens retro NYC Diner to ask: why are we still getting paid like it's 1938? Jul 22, 2026, 09:00 ET Immersive experience highlights that the way we get paid hasn't kept pace with modern life. NEW YORK, July 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - DailyPay, the leader in On-Demand Pay, today opened the DailyPay Diner, a New York City pop-up set in 1938, the year the current pay system took shape in the United States. The experience explores whether a system designed for a very different economy still meets the needs of today's workers. "Today's pay system was designed nearly a century ago," said Caitlin Allen, Chief Brand & Communications Officer at DailyPay. "We've changed the way we live, work and manage our money, but the way most people get paid has remained the same. We created the DailyPay Diner to challenge a system that no longer reflects the way people live and work." Step Back to 1938 Guests are transported to 1938 through a 45-minute immersive experience that recreates a classic 1930s diner. Period food and pricing, music, décor, a vintage diner car, live performances, and costumed actors bring the era to life, inviting visitors to experience the world where today's paycheck system first took shape. The DailyPay Diner builds on DailyPay's national The Future of Pay campaign, featuring Christopher Lloyd, by bringing its central message into the real world: if nearly everything else has evolved since 1938, why hasn't the way people get paid? The DailyPay Diner is open to the public July 22-23 at 245 E. Houston St. in New York City. Learn more at dailypay.com/diner. DailyPay, a leading on-demand pay platform, has closed a $200 million upsizing of its secured credit facility, bringing total committed capacity to $960 million. The expansion includes existing lending partners Barclays, Citi and TPG Credit, alongside new participants TD Bank Group and Royal Bank of Canada. The upsizing pushes DailyPay's total debt financing backed by on-demand pay receivables past $1 billion, including a securitisation completed in June 2025. The facility will finance additional on-demand pay transfers as the platform continues growing. DailyPay's platform allows employees to access earned wages before payday whilst helping employers improve workforce engagement and retention. Chief financial officer Deepa Subramanian said the expansion reflects strong confidence in the company's employer-partnered business model.
