Requirements
  • At least 3 years of post-fellowship experience is required, while recent Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology fellowship graduates with outstanding potential are also welcomed.
  • An MD or DO from an accredited medical school is required.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology is required.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex heart failure and advanced therapy cases is required.
  • The candidate must be able to collaborate effectively and communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert care for advanced heart failure patients from diagnosis through long-term management in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Evaluate and manage patients for therapies including ventricular assist devices and heart transplantation.
  • Collaborate with transplant surgeons, heart failure nurses, and pharmacists to develop individualized care plans.
  • Participate in clinical trials and contribute to research initiatives aimed at improving heart failure outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and heart failure management.
