Palantir builds software that connects an organization's data with decisions and everyday operations. Its Foundry platform gives businesses a shared view of data, while Gotham supports government and defense teams working with sensitive information. AIP adds language models to these workflows with controls over data access and the actions models perform. Customers pay for software subscriptions and implementation support under contracts that often cover multiple years, using cloud or on-premises deployments for tasks such as managing supply chains and planning missions. Founded in 2003 by Peter Thiel and other cofounders, Palantir is headquartered in Aventura, Florida.

Ondas, a counter-drone technology company, has partnered with Palantir Technologies to launch Regna AI, a standalone private company serving defence customers. Regna AI will build specialised AI models for missions involving drones, surveillance balloons, ground vehicles, and unmanned vessels. Its platform will support intelligence gathering, threat assessment, and mission planning, with human operators approving decisions. The company will focus on sovereign AI, letting governments control their models, sensitive data, and computing infrastructure. It plans to start with military surveillance before expanding into security, critical infrastructure, and industrial operations. The launch follows Ondas' recent defence orders, including a $56 million contract for a European military drone program. Its new orders since June 30 total more than $270 million.
