About the job
- Follow health, sanitation, safety, brand, and applicable local, state, and federal food and beverage regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow procedures for guest and team-member incidents.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures, grooming and appearance standards, work rules, department procedures, meeting attendance requirements, and the attendance policy.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize work duties to produce the required volume of work.
- Greet guests courteously and respond to their needs in a positive and timely manner while providing service.
- Assist other team members as needed to meet guest needs and follow the guest service recovery program.
- Clear and wipe tables and counters, dispose of garbage, clean floors, pick up dishes and glassware, and restock supplies.
- Transfer full tubs to the dish room and assist restaurant and kitchen staff as needed.
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in the restaurant, kitchen, and dish room.
- Complete required side work and take initiative to assist servers, dishwashers, and other restaurant staff.
