Requirements
Active and unencumbered registered nurse license.
Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) before hire.

Responsibilities
Assess patients and provide critical nursing care and transport services.
Supervise patient care, treatment, and assessment during transport.
Lift and transfer patients safely.
Operate emergency vehicles safely and follow dispatch instructions.
Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
Complete required documentation and maintain strict confidentiality.
Participate in continuing education.
Keep vehicles and stations clean and maintain equipment and supplies.
Desired Qualifications
Three years of experience in a critical care or emergency department environment.
As a member of the Critical Care Response Transport Team, the Registered Nurse provides patient assessment, critical nursing care, and transport services to patients. The Nurse is responsible for supervising patient care, treatment, and assessment during transport. Duties include providing excellent patient care, safe lifting and transferring of patients, operating emergency vehicles safely, adhering to company policies, completing documentation, responding to dispatch instructions, maintaining safety standards, participating in continuing education, keeping vehicles and stations clean, maintaining equipment and supplies, communicating effectively, and maintaining strict confidentiality.
Wages:
This is an hourly position. Wage range is $51.91-$70.44 per hour, determined by the length of licensure. Shifts are generally 12 or 24 hours in duration; therefore, full-time schedules include overtime compensation in accordance with applicable labor laws.
Per Diem nurses are required to work a minimum of 96 hours per quarter. Specific work locations are not guaranteed; assignments will depend on where hours are available and may vary based on staffing needs.

Prefer 3 years of experience in a critical care or emergency department environment.
Certified in ACLS and PALS prior to hire.
Certified CEN and/or CCRN preferred.
Patient transport experience preferred.
BSN preferred.
EMT-B bridge course will be offered upon hire and must be completed within 90 days of hire date.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting in a vehicle and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
