Responsibilities
Work and cover shifts across the company's armed operations.
Manage visitors at access control points with courtesy, decisiveness, and professionalism.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in public-facing work.
Ensure strict compliance with security standards.
Interact with affinity participants, including local and state police and the Department of Homeland Security.
Uphold high standards of conduct and zero tolerance for nonprofessional behavior.
Use effective and transparent employee discipline procedures.
Maintain high-touch communication among contract employees, client management, and company managers.
Plan for preparedness and effective response to potential crises.
Provide high-level customer service through daily interaction with students, staff, faculty, and visitors.
Desired Qualifications
A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
An active Massachusetts License to Carry and experience in an armed guard role are preferred.
Knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment is preferred.
CPR, First Aid, AED, NARCAN, MOAB, or ACT I, II, or III certifications are highly preferred.
An associate degree or higher in Criminal Justice-related studies is preferred.
Experience documenting observations, providing customer service, and following security procedures is preferred.
