Naval Architect - Multiple Teams
About the job
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Proven experience designing small craft vessels is required; experience with composite materials is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of composite materials, their properties, and their application in marine vessels is required.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as Rhino, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks and with FEM analysis tools is required.
- Experience with Classification Societies’ rules and maritime standards is required.
- Ability to create and review technical documentation for production and classification is required.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Design and develop small craft vessels, focusing on composite materials and integrated systems.
- Create and supervise 3D and 2D technical drawings and documentation compliant with Classification Societies and project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
- Analyze structural performance and conduct stability and strength assessments using FEM and other relevant methods.
- Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and coordination with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Support development and optimization of composite construction techniques and materials usage.
- Experience designing small craft vessels using composite materials.
