  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field, M.S. a plus.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in related positions.
  • Strong understanding of common software development practices and DevOps.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices with demonstrable experience in production environments.
  • Expertise in design, implementation, and operation of automated testing systems and release branch management.
  • Experience with release management using GitHub Enterprise or similar tools.
  • Track record of delivering robust products to internal and external customers.
  • Management or mentoring experience.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the engineering team responsible for the end-to-end software release process, ensuring timely and high-quality software delivery. Provide mentorship and coaching to junior team members.
  • Support and enhance the release workflow, including daily release builds and production releases.
  • Drive continuous improvements in our CI/CD pipeline to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Ensure that software releases meet stringent standards and provide necessary performance guarantees.
  • Collaborate with production automotive release processes and influence best practices within the organization.
  • Utilize data-driven analysis to identify critical issues, prioritize efforts, and ensure optimal driving performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design upcoming features, requirements, and estimate their impact on driving performance.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the release process, including changelogs, performance expectations, and risk assessments. Introduce scalable methods of automating reports and traceability.
