Requirements
Six years of full-time paid professional experience in construction scheduling for an owner or general contractor, preferably in educational facility or public works projects.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 version 19 and Microsoft Office Suite.
A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, or a bachelor's degree in any field plus two additional years of construction scheduling experience.
Understanding of the theories, principles, and practices of cost engineering, scheduling, and schedule forensics.
Responsibilities
Independently interpret and read detailed architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and other construction drawings to understand the work scope.
Review contractor Primavera P6 initial baseline construction schedules for missing scope, missing logic or milestones, critical path, and required cost loading, and provide written technical schedule review comments using LAUSD structured review templates.
Review contractor Primavera P6 monthly schedule updates and provide written comments documenting milestone and critical path activity slippage and overall schedule analysis using LAUSD structured review templates.
Perform quality assurance and quality control on contractor schedule submittals for contract conformance.
Create earned value curves using LAUSD earned value analysis template guidelines.
Monitor monthly construction progress, identify problem areas, help address schedule impacts, and identify opportunities to advance the schedule.
Provide and analyze key performance indicators from Primavera P6 schedules and Excel earned value curves using LAUSD structured templates.
Produce contract variance reports with root causes and investigate schedule recovery mitigation measures with recommendations.
Develop or review suggested preliminary construction schedules based on available plans and specifications.
Perform schedule time impact analysis using the Windows Analysis method and contemporaneous or forensic schedule parameters in a detailed write-up.
Read contract drawings to determine whether work is in or out of scope and interpret contract terms and conditions to assess compensable or non-compensable time-extension merit.
Communicate with the project team about schedule and progress issues during regular schedule meetings.
Perform status updates for program and master schedules on a regular basis.
Ensure proper use of program-level standard codes, layouts, and reports to maintain data integrity.
Prepare reports as needed and directed by senior management.

The Tsui Group is seeking a candidate who is qualified and experienced in educational facility construction projects to serve as a Project Scheduler for a large educational client within Los Angeles County with the below duties:
Independently interprets and reads detailed construction drawings (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, etc.) and develops a clear understanding of work scope.
Review Contractor P6 initial Baseline Construction Schedules and identify any missing scope, identify any missing logic or milestones, identify and analyze the critical path, review the required cost loading, and be able to provide written technical schedule review comments based on LAUSD’s structured review templates.

Required Experience:
