Requirements
  • Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) PA and/or NJ License to practice audiology.
  • Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) from an accredited institution.
  • Maintains required CEUs in accordance with certification and licensure requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Identify, evaluate, rehabilitate/habilitate individuals with hearing/balance disorders.
  • Create individualized rehabilitative treatment plans for individuals with hearing disorders.
  • Provide education regarding hearing/balance disorders and hearing conservation.
  • Participate in community outreach events, including hearing screenings as part of hearing conservation.
  • Provide tinnitus management options.
  • Provide cochlear implant services.
  • Provide education/preceptorship: teaching and mentoring of audiology extern and graduate students, medical students, and residents.
  • Participate in research initiatives.
  • Exhibit efficient communication and collaboration among clinical and non-clinical staff across locations.
  • Complete all patient encounters in a timely manner via the institution’s medical record system.
  • Timely and efficient completion of all appointment types is expected.
  • Timely and efficient documentation of outgoing and incoming tasks via the institution’s medical record system is expected.
  • Efficient utilization and time management across locations is expected.
  • Positive patient satisfaction/experience is fundamental.
  • Meet knowledge and skill development expectations of supervisors.
  • Set and pursue goals outlined in yearly performance evaluations.
