Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent, with 3 or more years’ experience with Software Development, DevOps, or Infrastructure engineering in support of Web and/or Mobile applications
  • Experience working as a team member on Scrum or Kanban teams is helpful
  • Experience with C#/.NET languages, principles, and design patterns preferred
  • Experience with any of the following Web UI automation tools: Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber or other BDD frameworks, SpecFlow, NUnit or equivalent test frameworks
  • Experience with performance testing tools and approaches for Web applications
  • Demonstrated proficiency with at least 1 high-level programming language
  • Proficient with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, bash, Ruby, TypeScript or other automation languages to automate build, deploy, and configuration management processes
  • Experience working with AWS managed service solutions including: VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, SQS, SNS, and Lambda
  • Knowledge of and experience building CI and CD pipelines using tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, Octopus, etc.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and services to create and maintain testing and production environments
  • Ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and a professional business demeanor
  • Culturally, the candidate will be collaborative, able to learn quickly, and accountable for results
Responsibilities
  • Work with Product Delivery teams to build automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Create cloud infrastructure and configuration as code to automate provisioning and scaling processes. At WorkWave we leverage Chef and CloudFormation to build platforms in minutes, not hours or days
  • Develop and leverage AWS tools and services to manage and automate key operations capabilities. This includes AWS Systems Manager, Patch Manager, Cloud Formation and custom scripting to extend the AWS services
  • Build application environments and platforms in AWS using techniques and tools to guarantee high availability, reliability, disaster recovery, security and monitoring
  • Develop solutions for continuously monitoring and alerting around uptime and performance. Logging and data analysis is the heart of maintaining highly reliable systems. At WorkWave we leverage tools such as LogStash, Kibana, ElasticSearch and more
  • Coach and train Engineers and QA on the use of automation tools and processes
  • Develop and improve Web, Mobile, and API automated test frameworks to be fast, modular, and reliable
