Requirements
  • An associate degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science, or completion of a certificate/training program is required.
  • Two years of experience working in a cardiac catheterization laboratory radiologic technologist role is required.
  • A radiographer license in the state of practice is required.
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
  • The employee must be able to respond within 30 minutes for on-call coverage.
Responsibilities
  • Support physicians during invasive and diagnostic or interventional cardiac, vascular, neurological, and electrophysiology procedures.
  • Perform imaging-related work in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
  • Provide safe, high-quality patient care during procedures.
  • Participate in overnight, weekend, and mandatory scheduled shifts, including the on-call rotation.
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
