Requirements
  • A master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field is required.
  • Experience providing behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families is required.
  • An active Arizona behavioral health license or associate license, including LMSW/LCSW, LAC/LPC, or LAMFT/LMFT, is required.
  • Must meet applicable licensure, certification, or credentialing requirements under Arizona law and applicable regulatory authorities.
  • Must practice within the scope of applicable credentials, organizational policies, and the needs of the populations served.
  • BLS certification is required, or must be obtained within five days of the start date.
  • An Arizona Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card is required, or must be obtained within five days of the start date.
  • A valid Arizona driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and pass pre- and continued-employment screenings successfully.
Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling to children and adolescents in school-based settings.
  • Conduct behavioral health assessments, screenings, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, and stabilization support as clinically appropriate.
  • Collaborate with school staff, caregivers, community agencies, and interdisciplinary treatment teams to coordinate care and support student success.
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups and psychoeducational interventions consistent with program and school needs.
  • Conduct school-based observations and interventions as clinically appropriate.
  • Participate in Child and Family Teams, care coordination activities, and interdisciplinary case consultation.
  • Maintain assigned caseload productivity and complete documentation requirements on time.
  • Promote family and school involvement throughout service delivery.
  • Support transition planning and continuity of care for students and families.
  • Maintain collaborative and professional relationships with school administration, school staff, and community partners.
  • Participate in supervision, required training, quality improvement initiatives, and staff meetings.
  • Travel between school campuses, Valle del Sol locations, and community settings as required.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of patient, employee, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
  • Promote a safe environment by following safety policies, infection control practices, and quality standards.
  • Perform duties in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, ethical standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support the organization's mission and commitment to culturally responsive care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
