About the company

Bank of America runs one of the largest US banks, serving consumers, small businesses, wealthy families, corporations and institutional investors. Alongside checking accounts, credit cards, mortgages and business loans, it owns the Merrill brokerage, a private bank for wealthy clients and a global investment bank that advises on deals and trades stocks and bonds. Customers reach it through thousands of branches and ATMs and its mobile banking app. It earns money mainly from the gap between what it charges on loans and pays on deposits, plus fees from advice, asset management, deal work and trading. It grew from a San Francisco bank founded in 1904 and is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Bank of America opens first Wisconsin branches, plans 17 more by 2030 as $5B expansion continues

Bank of America opened its first Wisconsin retail branch in Madison on Wednesday, and a second in Milwaukee on Thursday. It plans 17 more branches in the state through 2030. The 19 new branches will create roughly 130 jobs. The bank already employs 170 people in Wisconsin across its Merrill Lynch, business banking, and global corporate banking arms. It will enter Louisiana and Alabama next year. Ten branches are planned for the Birmingham and Huntsville areas from early 2027, and eight for greater New Orleans from the second half of the year. The openings are part of a $5 billion branch expansion plan that began in 2016. More than 95% of client transactions happen on the bank's app, but clients made about 10 million specialist appointments this year.

BofA opens first Wisconsin branches, plans 18 more in Alabama and Louisiana from 2027

Bank of America (BofA) has opened five branches in Wisconsin, its first in the state, and plans to enter Alabama and Louisiana next year. Another 14 Wisconsin branches are planned by the end of 2030. Since 2014, the $3.4 trillion-asset lender has opened 200 branches in 17 new markets, spending more than $5 billion. It has also closed branches; its domestic office count of 3,598 is down 26% from 2017, according to Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation data. "We believe we are at our best when our offering is complete," said Will Smayda, head of financial centers. He called each branch "a visible, $6 million investment" in a neighbourhood.

Olin secures $2.5B credit facilities amendment ahead of Huntsman merger

Olin Corporation has agreed to a second amendment to its credit agreement, setting up $750 million in term loans and a $1,750 million revolving credit facility. Bank of America is administrative and collateral agent. The deal takes effect only if Olin's previously announced merger with Huntsman Corporation closes. Proceeds would refinance Olin's existing facilities, repay and end Huntsman's revolving credit facility, and cover fees. Any remainder would fund working capital and general corporate purposes. Both facilities mature five years after closing. Interest is set at a benchmark rate plus a margin of 1.5% to 2.125%, or at a base rate plus 0.5% to 1.125%, depending on Olin's net leverage. The term loan requires quarterly repayments of 1.25% of principal, rising to 1.875% after year four.

West Pharmaceutical Services replaces 2019 facility with $950M five-year credit agreement

West Pharmaceutical Services has signed a new $950 million unsecured credit agreement, replacing its 2019 facility, according to an 8-K filing dated October 26, 2026. The five-year deal includes a $750 million revolving credit line and a $200 million term loan, which the company drew on the effective date. Bank of America, N.A. is the administrative agent. West plans to use the funds for working capital, capital expenditure, acquisitions, stock repurchases, and debt repayment. The agreement caps its Net Leverage Ratio at 3.50 to 1.0, rising to 4.00 to 1.0 during significant acquisitions.
