Requirements
  • Typically requires 12 or more years of related experience with a four-year degree, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience supporting Microsoft and/or Linux operating systems in a corporate environment, on or off premise, is required.
  • Prior experience designing or supporting Infrastructure as a Service infrastructure in a public cloud is strongly preferred.
  • Prior knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, and Power BI is a plus.

  • Experience with Azure best practices, scalable secure solutions, Azure Landing Zones, Terraform, Azure DevOps pipelines, Azure Kubernetes Service, Helm, GitOps workflows, ArgoCD, Flux, Azure API Management, OAuth, Managed Identities, role-based access control, Azure Entra ID, B2C, External ID, Zero Trust security models, RESTful APIs, Application Insights, and cloud cost optimization is required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Azure networking and infrastructure issues, retrieve logs, and optimize performance is required.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, engineer, and design infrastructure and lead efforts to evaluate, recommend, integrate, and coordinate infrastructure enhancements.
  • Work with IT Architects to ensure modified infrastructure interacts appropriately, data conversion impacts are considered, other areas of impact are addressed, and project performance requirements are met.
  • Develop and configure infrastructure from conceptualization through stabilization across various computer platforms.
  • Implement infrastructure by analyzing current systems and infrastructure, using technical tools and utilities, performing complex product customization, and developing implementation and verification procedures for successful system hardware and software installation.
  • Conduct routine infrastructure analysis and evaluate resource requirements needed to maintain or expand service levels.
  • Provide cost estimates for new projects.
  • Collaborate with team assistance to create work and design documents.
  • Perform light project management for onboarding requests, including scheduling actions with teams and following change-control processes.
  • Assist with showback and chargeback documentation and reports.
  • Provide technical expertise in Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service public-cloud domains.
  • Design, manage, and secure Azure Kubernetes Service clusters, including Helm and GitOps workflows.
  • Manage Azure API Management for secure API exposure, OAuth, Managed Identities, and API security.
  • Develop and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines through Azure DevOps for infrastructure and API automation.
  • Implement security automations, automated remediations, Wiz integrations, and governance policies.
  • Work on web application firewall and content delivery network solutions such as Akamai and Azure Front Door.
  • Mentor teams, drive cloud automation initiatives, and encourage Azure and AWS certifications.
  • Facilitate project-management cycles while working with the internal application services group.

Arrow Electronics trades at 10x earnings amid semiconductor recovery

First Pacific Advisors' FPA Queens Road Small Cap Value Fund trimmed its position in Arrow Electronics during the second quarter of 2026, according to its investor letter. The semiconductor distributor trades at approximately 10 times forward earnings. Arrow reported 39% year-over-year earnings growth in its first-quarter earnings release on 7 May, more than doubling its adjusted earnings per share. The company had previously used strong cash flows during the Covid component shortages between 2020 and 2023 to retire roughly one-third of its outstanding shares. The fund noted that the semiconductor industry has rebounded after suffering from a cyclical trough and tariff pressures. On 31 August 2026, Arrow's stock closed at approximately $203.92 per share, with a market capitalisation of about $10.41 billion.

Arrow Electronics reported second-quarter results showing revenue of $10 billion, up 32% year-over-year, whilst non-GAAP earnings per share jumped 124% to $5.45. Growth came from multiple sectors including industrial, aerospace, defence and transportation, alongside AI and data centre investment. The Global Components business generated $7.4 billion in sales with operating margin expanding to 5.4%. Book-to-bill ratios exceeded 1 across all three regions, with backlog extending into the first half of 2027. However, the ECS division saw its non-GAAP operating margin fall 100 basis points due to charges from underperforming multiyear contracts. Arrow terminated one distribution agreement and is restructuring another. For the third quarter, the company expects revenue between $9.6 billion and $10.2 billion. Hedge fund holder count increased to 45 from 43.
