About the company

Bank of America runs one of the largest US banks, serving consumers, small businesses, wealthy families, corporations and institutional investors. Alongside checking accounts, credit cards, mortgages and business loans, it owns the Merrill brokerage, a private bank for wealthy clients and a global investment bank that advises on deals and trades stocks and bonds. Customers reach it through thousands of branches and ATMs and its mobile banking app. It earns money mainly from the gap between what it charges on loans and pays on deposits, plus fees from advice, asset management, deal work and trading. It grew from a San Francisco bank founded in 1904 and is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Oxford Industries extends $325M credit facility to 2031 and eases deal and payout rules

Oxford Industries (NYSE: OXM) has extended its $325 million asset-based revolving credit facility from March 6, 2028 to October 29, 2031. The Atlanta-based company signed the third amendment on October 29, 2026. Facility size and effective interest rates stay the same. The amendment removes the SOFR credit spread adjustment, which simplifies the rate calculation. It also eases conditions for acquisitions, investments, and restricted payments, which include dividends and share repurchases. Regions Bank joins the lenders, which include Truist Bank, Bank of America, and JPMorgan Chase. Post-closing conditions apply. Until a Wells Fargo lien on Johnny Was, LLC is terminated, within 90 days, none of its assets count toward the borrowing base unless the administrative agent agrees otherwise.

It will enter Louisiana and Alabama next year. Ten branches are planned for the Birmingham and Huntsville areas from early 2027, and eight for greater New Orleans from the second half of the year. BofA opens first Wisconsin branches, plans 18 more in Alabama and Louisiana from 2027

Bank of America (BofA) has opened five branches in Wisconsin, its first in the state, and plans to enter Alabama and Louisiana next year. It will open 10 branches in the Birmingham, Alabama, area in the first quarter of 2027, and eight in Greater New Orleans from the second half of 2027. Another 14 Wisconsin branches are planned by the end of 2030. Since 2014, the $3.4 trillion-asset lender has opened 200 branches in 17 new markets, spending more than $5 billion. It has also closed branches; its domestic office count of 3,598 is down 26% from 2017, according to Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation data.
