Requirements
  • College degree in a relevant field, such as law or business, required.
  • Paralegal training or certificate, preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Experience supporting a legal department's commercial contracts, labor and employment, and/or compliance functions, strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with labor laws, regulations and compliance requirements in certain regions, including North America, Brazil, EMEA and Australia, preferred.
  • Ability to read and write in Dutch would be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
  • Become a subject matter expert regarding the Company’s contract management system and internal business departments, organization, policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the review and analysis of legal documents and notices related to labor disputes, terminations, and workplace issues.
  • Research various labor and employment laws, regulations, and legal questions.
  • Support the Company’s incident reporting and investigation process.
  • Assist with the third-party risk management program.
  • Develop and lead programs to promote timely completion of compliance training modules.
  • Work collaboratively with in-house and outside counsel, internal stakeholders, agents, and vendors to resolve issues related to contract management.
  • Assist with the management of processes and operations related to the Legal team.
  • Promote our culture of continuous improvement by identifying potential process improvements and supporting projects that drive operational efficiency and streamline existing policies and processes, including the use of AI and automation.
  • Ensure that all assigned activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Support other related and additional responsibilities that may be required or assigned from time to time.
