- A United States bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management, or a foreign equivalent of one of those degrees.
- Coordinate and manage internal project kickoff, milestone, and closeout meetings.
- Verify schedules and ensure internal and external resources adhere to plans and timelines to meet objectives efficiently.
- Conduct on-site inspections; document existing conditions; perform field testing; photograph and create hand sketches; and observe and track work in progress to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Record field measurements and perform calculations.
- Interpret construction plans, specifications, and construction manuals.
- Prepare client inspection field reports by reviewing site observations, reporting findings, and providing recommendations based on relevant codes and standards.
- Review and evaluate change orders while assessing their impact on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Review payment applications and verify the accuracy of work and materials supplied by contractors.
- Prepare written correspondence with clients and contractors.
- Review investigation reports and bid documents, including drawings and technical specifications, for accurate interpretation and implementation.
- Communicate project status and address issues and discrepancies.
- Maintain organized records, files, drawings, and other essential data, ensuring they are complete and stored appropriately.
- Collect post-project feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Improve job knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies and networks.
- Represent the company at industry events, seminars, and continuing education presentations.
