About the job
- Current District of Columbia security officer license.
- At least 2 years of security supervisor experience or experience in a related field; a college degree may account for half of the experience qualification.
- Successful completion of Admiral Leadership training.
- Availability to be on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and the ability to operate and maintain site-specific security programs.
- Ensure contract deliverables are met.
- Manage client relations and act as the primary liaison between Admiral and client representatives.
- Manage accounts efficiently and profitably.
- Ensure site employees are properly trained.
- Manage the payroll process and enter payroll in BOETA when applicable.
- Maintain personnel, operations, and training account files.
- Address disciplinary problems and work with Human Resources to investigate issues.
- Maintain complete knowledge of the assigned property or properties, facilities, post orders, emergency contacts, emergency procedures, special instructions, and site post duties.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of equipment used by assigned officers, including keys, key cards, cell phones, radios, and wands.
- Assist with staffing posts to ensure complete coverage.
- Schedule officers and fill vacant posts.
- Conduct inspections of officers, including appearance, licenses, and uniforms.
- Review written reports and sign-in sheets for clarity, completeness, accuracy, and legibility.
- Ensure officers make timely and thorough daily report entries and audit entries for completeness, accuracy, and legibility.
- Review post orders and recommend changes to senior management.
- An exemplary internal performance and attendance record with no disciplinary actions within one year of applying.
