About the Job

Requirements

  • Strong operational risk awareness, including a track record of structuring staged rollouts, defining rollback criteria, and requiring safety gates before automation runs unsupervised on production infrastructure.
  • Experience coordinating across engineering and operations stakeholders with different risk tolerances, bridging teams that prioritize speed and stability without stalling delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and drive cross-team projects with clear goals and timelines.
  • Align conflicting priorities and stakeholder needs, including C-level stakeholders.
  • Facilitate technical and procedural decision-making.
  • Establish and scale repeatable processes.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with hardware automation domains such as zero-touch provisioning, firmware orchestration, automated hardware testing frameworks, or self-healing remediation systems.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes, from a delivery and rollout management perspective.
  • Exposure to data centre operations, including rack and stack, cabling, and power and cooling management, sufficient to understand automation's impact on technicians on the floor.
  • Experience with site reliability engineering practices such as toil measurement, error budgets, and treating operational automation as an engineering investment.
  • Knowledge of observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or equivalent, for monitoring automation system health and measuring operational outcomes.

About the Company

Nebius

Runs GPU clouds for AI training and deployment

Nebius runs an AI cloud for developers, researchers, and enterprises that train models and put them into production. Its AI Cloud combines GPU computing, storage, networking, and managed services, while Token Factory runs models through an API so teams do not manage the underlying servers. Customers rent computing and storage at usage rates or reserve capacity, choosing resources that fit short experiments or sustained production workloads. Beyond the cloud, the group owns Avride, which develops autonomous vehicles and delivery robots, and TripleTen, which teaches technical skills for people changing careers. The publicly listed group is headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
