Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Medical Assistant Certification is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • The candidate must be comfortable assisting both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is required.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure appropriate supplies and equipment are available.
  • Identify and report defective or malfunctioning equipment to management.
  • Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for examinations and in-office procedures.
  • Obtain and accurately record vital signs, including height, weight, and blood pressure.
  • Promptly notify the provider of abnormal findings.
  • Assist with specimen collection and perform phlebotomy as needed.
  • Support providers during examinations and procedures.
  • Complete tasks as directed by the provider, nurse, manager, or lead.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
  • Medical office experience is preferred.
