Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration, or equivalent work experience, is required.
  • Three to five years of Epic experience is required.
  • Three to five years of healthcare experience is required.
  • Epic application experience is required.
  • Microsoft Office experience is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced maintenance, support, and development to assigned applications.
  • Participate on implementation and installation project teams.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve data and system issues of intermediate complexity, escalating advanced-complexity issues as appropriate.
  • Develop, validate, and execute application and integrated test plans.
  • Adhere to organization standards for system configuration and change control.
  • Develop, support, and maintain knowledge-base documentation.
  • Gather requirements, develop specifications, and prepare and review documentation.
  • Inform leadership of new release features and functionality and changes or revisions that will impact operations.
  • Apply process improvement, demand management, and project management methodologies.
  • Maintain current technology knowledge through continuing education training and seminars and by reading related periodicals.
Desired Qualifications
  • Three to five years of information technology knowledge and analyst work is preferred.
  • Three to five years of Ancillary, Clinical, Patient Access, or Revenue Cycle experience is preferred.
  • Overall third-party troubleshooting and solutioning experience is preferred.
  • Hospital knowledge or experience based on the requirements of the hiring team.
