- At least two years of acute registered nurse psychiatric or behavioral health experience.
- Graduation from an NLN-accredited School of Nursing.
- Current New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
- Advanced certification such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Neonatal Advanced Life Support, or Pediatric Advanced Life Support may be required for certain specialties.
- Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
- Supervise and provide patient care using the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self.
- Follow established policies and procedures.
- Communicate openly with internal customers and supervisors.
- Interface with staff, management, and physicians to provide customer service.
- Apply Cooper core values.
- Perform other duties as required.
