Underperforming deals could lead to impairments, while rapid growth has already pressured working capital and contributed to weaker operating cash flow in 2025 and the first half of 2026. EMCOR is well positioned to benefit from continued investment in data centers and other complex infrastructure. Strong revenue and earnings growth, record backlog, improving margins and a nearly debt-free balance sheet give the company solid momentum. The main risks are its growing exposure to data centers, labor constraints, project execution and a valuation that already reflects high expectations.
