Responsibilities
  • Develop financial operations improvement initiatives to inform strategic reform for a large multi-specialty physician group.
  • Analyze program and service line profitability.
  • Assist financial operations to help maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the hospital.
  • Analyze various general ledger accounts.
  • Generate and analyze revenue and expense reports.
  • Track new expenses.
  • Conduct reconciliation activities as needed.
  • Work on special data-oriented projects.
  • Present project results to senior leadership, project hosts, and mentors at the end of the program.
  • Participate in hospital tours and volunteer opportunities as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, healthcare management, or a related area.
  • Candidates should have an interest in finance and healthcare.
  • Candidates should have completed finance or accounting courses.
  • Candidates should have advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Candidates should have communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Candidates should have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
