Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience releasing complex mechanical parts and assemblies in a major computer-aided design system such as NX, CATIA, Creo, or SolidWorks, including drawings and ASME Y14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Experience generating and releasing calculations for governing structural failure modes and tolerance stacks of hardware subsequently fabricated and tested.
  • Experience taking a complex mechanical assembly from computer-aided design and drawings through fabrication, inspection, assembly, and instrumented testing, resolving an as-built tolerance or process failure.
  • Experience producing measured structural or mechanism test data and using it to resolve fracture, deformation, fatigue, vibration, wear, or tolerance-driven failures through verified redesign.
Responsibilities
  • Translate robot motion, contact, transport, service, and fault cases into free-body diagrams, load cases, structural requirements, margins, and verification plans.
  • Select and mechanically integrate actuators; design load-bearing body structures, joints and mechanisms, sensor and compute mounts, environmental enclosures, protective elements, and cable or hose routing.
  • Produce release-quality three-dimensional computer-aided design models, assemblies, drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, tolerance stacks, material and process specifications, and bills of materials.
  • Use hand calculations and finite element analysis to evaluate stress, stiffness, buckling, fatigue, vibration, impact, fastener behavior, and thermal distortion.
  • Build and instrument prototypes, then correlate strain, displacement, load, modal, impact, and cycle-life measurements with predictions.
  • Investigate cracks, yielding, loosening, wear, fretting, misalignment, ingress, and assembly discrepancies, then carry corrections through verified retesting.
  • Own the structural, alignment, environmental, thermal-packaging, routing, and service integration of machine subsystems, including physical interfaces for actuator modules.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with lightweight robotic, aerospace, automotive, or industrial mechanisms operating under dynamic and repeated loads.
  • Experience with nonlinear or dynamic finite element analysis, modal testing, fracture mechanics, tribology, sealing, or environmental protection.
  • Experience with design for assembly, supplier technical review, inspection planning, or prototype-to-production transfer.

Gramn provides cloud-based HR software under the Jobcan brand to streamline HR tasks. Its main product, Jobcan Attendance Management, tracks employee time across multiple clock-in methods (PC, phone, IC cards, biometric devices) with real-time data on a central dashboard, automates work-hour calculations and overtime, and sends alerts to avoid missed clock-ins. Jobcan Shift Management lets employees digitally submit shift preferences, after which the system generates optimized schedules based on requests and staffing needs. Additional modules include Leave Management and Payroll, which integrates attendance data to simplify payroll processing. Offered on a subscription basis, customers pick and combine the functions they need. The system is multi-language, supports integration with external payroll software, and targets a wide range of industries and company sizes.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Donuts launched department functions for Jobcan billing on 2026-07-24.
  • HR EXPO 2026 exposure reinforces Jobcan's reach to Japanese back-office buyers.
  • Continuous May 2026 feature updates signal active product investment across the suite.

What critics are saying

  • KING OF TIME undercuts Jobcan on simplicity, pricing, and share in 2026.
  • Money Forward Cloud Attendance Plus launched on 2026-04-01 for mid-market and enterprise.
  • If jobcan suite adoption stalls, Donuts faces commoditization against bundled HR platforms.

What makes GRAM unique

  • Jobcan serves 300,000-plus customers; Donuts cited that figure on 2026-05-27.
  • Its modular pricing covers attendance, shifts, leave, payroll, and accounting in one suite.
  • Jobcan supports IC cards, biometrics, mobile, and PC clock-ins across languages.
