  • A High School Diploma or GED is required; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • At least 2 years of liquid measurement experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of flow computer configuration software and field instrumentation is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of AGA, GPA, API, BLM, and state regulatory requirements related to liquid measurement is required.
  • Ability to work extended hours, participate in on-call rotations, and travel as required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather and field conditions.
Responsibilities
  • Operate various types of liquid provers and associated measurement equipment under limited supervision.
  • Perform custody-transfer and allocation proving to ensure accurate and compliant measurement results.
  • Obtain spot and composite samples and safely handle, transport, and document hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
  • Determine and record API gravity, sediment and water, and other required quality parameters.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform root-cause analysis on measurement-related equipment and automation systems.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and test instruments in proper working condition.
  • Complete assigned field tasks with minimal assistance while maintaining accuracy, safety, and dependability.
  • Train new technicians on primary duties, safe work practices, and measurement fundamentals.
  • Maintain accurate job tickets, documentation, and data records to support compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
