Requirements
  • Five years of management experience within information technology support and/or management.
  • Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, computer engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe).
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate trainees in order to summarize, forecast, identify requirements, screen information, determine eligibility, and provide solutions to potential challenges.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing to inquire about, coordinate, and schedule training sessions and to prepare clear, concise reports and presentations.
  • All staff must be determined eligible for a Facility Access Authorization (employment authorization) by the U.S. Government Security Office.
  • May be required to complete a Financial Disclosure Statement.
  • Must be able to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigations up to Top Secret or Q clearance; a Secret clearance / National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) is expected.
Responsibilities
  • Supports oversight of student scheduling, supervision, and training.
  • Coordinating facility maintenance and interacting with Enterprise Management System (EMS) Technicians.
  • Adherence with EMS direction to replace monitors, desktop computers, and servers and verify the operation of hardware and software in the Digital Training Facilities.
  • Maintenance of facility security, operation of equipment, and assisting students in using assets provided in the DTFs.
  • Monitoring and reporting the condition and inventory of IT hardware, desks, chairs, and other furniture at site locations.
  • Partner with other entities to create secure lab environments.
  • Perform hands-on equipment operation and on-site operations.
  • Provide metrics and reports to designated Management, Section Leadership, and Stakeholder Staff.
  • Provide server and application support and maintenance; superior customer interactions on behalf of the DTF.
  • Report the operational status of the DTFs to the chain of command and the Distributed Learning Point of Contact (DL-POC).
  • Schedule use of DTFs and provide hands-on assistance to the Army Training Information System (ATIS) Product Manager and Enterprise Management System staff.
  • Schedule training in DTFs in coordination with Soldiers and the Distributed Learning Point of Contact (DL-POC).
