Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 6+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Primary Responsibilities:-

• To work daily with QCT commercial pricing team and San Diego Incentive accounting leads by providing end to end support and leadership for pricing discounts programs
• Provide comprehensive support for pricing discount programs, including Tier 1 customer rebate claim processing as well as the approval of Tier 2/3 rebate claims.
• Qtr end accrual processing and Other Financial analysis including Budget & Outlooks variance analysis
• Will need to foster strong partnerships while working externally with international QCT customers and internal business teams including commercial finance leads (Mobile, IoT, Compute & Auto business units), Legal, Contracting, Marketing, and Sales teams
• Candidate to provide team leadership for 3-4 team members
• Candidate to lead incentive accounting functions including reserve accounting, Qtr end accrual processing, GL account reconciliation support, preparation of quarterly reporting schedules and internal/external audit support
• Extensively utilize QC ERP accounting systems including price and incentive validation checks and enhancements on customized ERP modules
• Expected to gain in depth knowledge of QCT product roadmap through pricing program analysis and customer device features research and verification
• Provide recommendations on overall improvements by researching and assessing standardized workflow procedures and policies.
• Ability to multi-task across multiple stakeholders and deliver accurate results within tight deadlines.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance and 8-10 years’ experience in the following areas:
• General Accounting
• Revenue Recognition
• Financial Analysis
• Contract review and auditing processes (internal & external)
• Experience in Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint, Oracle, Cognos TM1 Planning and Reporting
• CPA or equivalent
• Semiconductor industry experience

  • Ability to adapt to new systems
• Strong skill in general accounting / general ledger processes, principles, and terminology
• Self-motivated team player able to work autonomously, prioritize responsibilities and take the initiative on solving issues as they arise
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required
• Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle and Cognos TM1 Planning and Reporting. Proficient in Oracle Finance modules – AR, Billing and GL
