Long Service Corporation, a New South Wales Government statutory body, has launched a digital application on the Appian Platform to help community services workers access long service leave entitlements across multiple employers. Delivered with Deloitte, the solution supports approximately 250,000 workers and 2,400 employers in tracking accrued service. Since launching in April 2026, the portal has processed over 5,800 service returns from nearly 2,000 employers, with more than 180,000 workers nominated into the scheme. LSC has received over $57 million in levy payments, with collections projected to exceed $100 million by 1 September 2026. The application integrates NSW Government shared services and enables workers and employers to manage the scheme through MyServiceNSW accounts, reducing administrative complexity for a sector characterised by short-term contracts and multiple employers.

Appian Corporation has expanded its alliance with Deloitte to deliver AI-powered solutions for modernising UK policing. The collaboration will replace fragmented legacy systems with a unified platform integrating records management, investigations and intelligence functions. The solution uses the Appian Platform to provide intelligent automation and centralised case management, reducing administrative burdens and improving data quality. The initiative addresses challenges including system interoperability and manual processing whilst accelerating investigations and improving intelligence sharing across regional forces. The launch builds on a decade-long partnership combining Deloitte's domain expertise with Appian's enterprise automation platform. The alliance aims to help policing organisations achieve productivity gains and operational efficiency amid rising digital and cross-border crime.
