Job Summary:
rag & bone is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to be responsible for providing accounting support for rag & bone’s wholesale and DTC business. The role reports into the Senior Manager, Accounting. This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities:
- Support efficient and effective monthly financial close processes in assigned areas through performance of journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of financial results.
- Collaborate effectively with FP&A, Retail Ops and IT on different projects and tasks.
- Support external audit requests and be able to provide explanations to auditors.
- Understand and improve the process flow of transactions as well as troubleshoot issues.
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly sales and VAT tax filings.
- Mentor staff accountants and be a resource for questions and issues when they arise.
Requirements: (skills, qualifications, education, etc)
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross functional teams.
- 5+ years of accounting experience

- Results orientated, flexible, resourceful, and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple deliverables.
- Proficiency in Excel and strong PC skills
- CPA a plus
- Retail / wholesale industry experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with D365 ERP system is a plus
The estimated salary for the role is $85,000-$100,000 based on experience and qualifications.
