- A successfully completed degree in business informatics, computer science, engineering, or an equivalent qualification, or vocational training with relevant professional experience in the SAP Basis environment.
- Several years of experience operating and administering SAP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, or SAP Solution Manager, including installation, system copies, configuration, troubleshooting, release processes, and patch processes.
- Sound knowledge of underlying infrastructure, especially Linux and Windows operating systems and databases such as HANA DB and MaxDB in the SAP environment.
- Experience with SAP security, including PFCG role construction according to specifications, security monitoring, and hardening of ABAP systems.
- Routine in system monitoring, automation, and scripting to support efficient and stable operations.
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, at least level B2.
- Manage operations, administration, and further development of the SAP Basis landscape in on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring platform stability, performance, and security.
- Plan and conduct system updates, upgrades, patches, and transports in accordance with architecture guidelines, security policies, and regulatory requirements, and integrate new solutions into the existing IT system landscape.
- Monitor SAP systems, analyze incidents, identify causes, and initiate sustainable improvement measures within incident, problem, and change management.
- Advance the modernization of the SAP infrastructure, design improvements, and use automation for recurring operations and deployment tasks.
- Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, and external service providers to develop future-ready solutions and represent R+V's interests.
- Share knowledge, maintain documentation and operating manuals, and support colleagues with incidents, changes, and deployments.
- Experience with cloud environments including BTP, CiS, Entra, Cloud Connector, and ALM.
